The Shimano® Clarus Casting Rods come with IM-8 Blank and have a new taping design called Tech Tape. This tape protects the blanks fibres from impact damage which causes most rod failures. These rods also feature Pac Bay guides, a custom Shimano reel seat and high-grade cork handles.
